I like this gif set, because it shows a lot of the struggle of Hal’s later story-line.  I’ve long thought of 2 Henry IV as Part Two: In Which There Are Consequences.  He’s play a long con, and he gets what he wants, but he has to kill an honorable man; he loses the respect of his father; when his father is ill, he cannot publicly mourn, because no one will believe him; he betrays a friend.  For a lot of characters, Part Two is where everything comes back to cost them, and Hal suffers for a lot of what he’s done.
